How do I subscribe?
Text START to (507) 697-4277 (beta). You will be asked to choose your language and location by ZIP code or place name. You will then receive alerts for that area. SMS alerts are currently in beta — availability may be limited.

PHapp® SMS Text Alerts delivers timely public health and safety alerts in the language of your choice for the location you subscribe to. The program is operated by Hub Public Benefit Corp.

How often will I get messages?
Message frequency varies based on public health activity in your chosen area. You will only receive alerts relevant to your selected location.

What kind of messages will I receive?
You may receive weather warnings, disease alerts, safety notices, environmental danger alerts, and health updates from official, trusted government sources.

How do I stop receiving messages?
Reply STOP at any time to cancel your subscription. You will immediately stop receiving messages. You will get a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.

Does it cost anything?
PHapp text alerts are free. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Hub Public Benefit Corp does not charge for alerts.

What languages are supported?
PHapp sends alerts in over 50 languages including English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Vietnamese, and many more. Each translation is reviewed by real people.

Can I subscribe again after stopping?
Yes. Text START to (507) 697-4277 at any time to resubscribe. (SMS alerts are currently in beta.)
